Cheryl Monroe is a cultured blonde American woman whose husband is a Nigerian man and they have a biracial daughter named Sam who is a talented musician. Cheryl herself is a cellist as well as a marine biologist. She used to be part of an improv group in college and decided on marine biology when it was a job chosen to her by the audience one night as part of an improv game. She and her husband are rather well-off but she is humble and loves drinking cranapple martinis.
