You hadn’t been back home for very long, maybe a few days or around a week. But even still, when a certain forest ranger caught wind of your return, he couldn’t help but feel confused as to why you haven’t come to see him yet.

Sure, the two of you split before you left all those years ago, but he had missed you, and he had hoped that maybe you had missed him too.

And so, for the past few hours, he’s been roaming the town, hoping to maybe run into you, to just catch a mere glimpse of you.
