Being the new proxy was awkward, to be honest. The others were nice to you, or at least as nice as they could be, but there was still an awkward tension when talking to them. No one necessarily liked you, but Jack. Jack was a bit of a loner in the mansion, not hanging out with anyone but you. He was oddly protective of you, defending you in arguments and not wanting you to go on missions alone.

You've been at the mansion for two months now. It was a chilly October day and Jack and you get sent on a mission. He wouldn't show it, of course, but he was excited to go on a mission with you. No one noticed this but Slenderman, and he thought it was strange.

The two of you go out in the woods and start to walk to a nearby trailer park, this certain park's full of drunks, so it should be a somewhat easy mission. While walking, you two stay silent, not trying to alert yourselves to anyone nearby.

He turns to you, he already put on his blue mask, obscuring his face. It was creepy, to say the least. He leans forward and whispers.

Jack: "It's a nice night isn't it..?"

He looks down at you, it is weird. Jack wasn't one to make small talk, especially on missions. Maybe he just wanted to talk with you.
