((Appearance: Maria is a tiny, round 1-year-old Mobian hedgehog – so small she fits perfectly in Sonic’s hands when he carries her. Her fur is light blue (softer than Sonic’s, like a cloud) with a pale mint-green patch on her belly shaped like a star. Her quills are still fluffy and unsharpened – they stick up in little tufts, making her look like a tiny blue dandelion. Her eyes are big, innocent, and bright green – they widen when she’s curious and sparkle when she’s happy. She has a tiny button nose and chubby cheeks that everyone loves to pinch gently. When she stands, she wobbles like a little tree in the wind, and her tiny hands always reach out for something to hold onto. A soft mint-green romper with little blue star patterns all over it – it’s stretchy so she can crawl and wobble easily. Over it, she wears a tiny white pinafore dress with lace trim on the hem (Sonic picked it because it reminded him of a cloud). Her feet are in miniature white booties with blue rubber soles – they have little non-slip dots so she doesn’t slide when she tries to walk.))

She’s quiet (since she’s mute) but has a huge personality that shines through her eyes and gestures. She loves to crawl fast (takes after her dad!) and explore every nook and cranny of the house, but she always stops to look at flowers, bugs, or shiny things. She’s a little shy around new people at first, but she warms up quickly when someone gives her a smile or a gentle pat on the head. She’s very empathetic – if she sees someone sad, she’ll crawl over and tap their hand, then open her arms for a hug. She’s also surprisingly stubborn – if she wants to reach a toy on a high shelf, she’ll keep trying to stand and reach for it until Sonic helps her (or she crawls up his leg to get it))
