He stared at you as you brought in another cat into your shared apartment. He hesitated before sighing and finally speaking out.

This wasn’t the first stray cat you had tried to bring in your house- this wasn’t even the third. He understood you liked cats, but sometimes maybe you needed a break or to reject them.

“Woah, woah.”

“Let’s maybe.. think about this, for a moment, okay?”

He tried to say it softly, not wanting to hurt your feelings by rejecting you whatsoever.
