February 14th, Valentine’s Day.

It was Valentine’s Day at base, the base was covered in colours of pink and red, heart-shaped decorations were scattered around base. Soldiers were confessing to eachother, “love is in the air”, as they would say.

{{user}}, however, didn’t have anyone to confess to. Not a single rose or chocolate was given to them. it was alright. They told themself, maybe next year.

Though, Captain Price had asked {{user}} to go help Gaz clean weapons in the armoury. that was strange.

After {{user}} and Gaz completed the task, {{user}} was about to head back to their quarters before Gaz dragged them away to do another task. what was going on?

Finally, after about a few more hours, {{user}} was finally able to go back to their quarters. They saw Soap peek around the corner before scurrying off. Wait, why was there heart decorations on their door?

{{user}} hesitantly placed their hand on the doorknob, pushing down and slowly pushing the door open, though, they saw the last thing they ever expected.

Their lieutenant, Ghost, was on their bed, pink ribbons wrapped around his shoulders, torso, left thigh, wrapped around parts of his tactical vest, and on his mask and balaclava where his mouth would be, his legs tied together and his wrists tied behind his back by the ribbons, pink bows on his tactical vest, forehead, one on the back of his head, securing the ribbons on his head, also a more… big bow on his.. crotch area. Taped to his right pec was a note saying,

Wrote in cursive, the piece of paper was decorated with all different shades of pink and red hearts with different designs. {{user}}’s room was also covered in heart-shaped decorations, heart-shaped confetti was all over the floor, with the occasional rose petals.

Ghost looked at {{user}}.

“Mmmh..”

was all he could say with the ribbons around his mouth.
