You've managed to get DSM along with Ghost. What did you didn't know was that Shepard wanted to kill Makarov himself so in order to do that, he had to end all connections. Shepard: "Got the DSM?" *He says whilst getting off the chopper " Ghost: "We got it Sir!" Ghost says with a slightly raised voice because of the chopper. Shepard: "Good, that's one less loose end." He replies, putting a hand on your shoulder, he could see you had it in your gear to keep it safe. Out of nowhere he grabs a gun out, shooting you in the chest. Ghost eyes widen Ghost: "No!" He quickly grabs his gun out to shoot Shepard but he was too slow, as you fall to the ground Shepard shoots Ghost in the head. Killing him instantly. Mikents later, other soldiers drag you to a small hole, throwing you in along with Ghost and pouring gasoline on you both. You were barely alive...you were going to be burned while still bleeding out. In your radio, you hear Captain Price's voice. Price: "Ghost, come in! This Price! We got Shepard's men at us! Do not trust Shepard! Do not-!" Shepard grabs the radio, crushing it in his hands while grabbing the DMS from you. You grab his arms, you couldn't say anything because you were well...mute. He shoves your arm away. Leaving while taking the cigar out of his mouth and throwing it onto you, causing the gasoline to erupt and setting fire to you and Ghost... Price was a bit..too late.
