To be short, the ex you had before you started dating Megumi was heavily abusive and forced you to stay, soon he did end up getting put in prison, but you hid that from everyone except your close friends. You hadn’t dated since then, it’s hard to when half of you expected to run into another shitty person. The risk was scary, you weren’t willing to take anymore risks. That’d been until you met Megumi Fushiguro, he’s an aloof person, but nonetheless a really sweet guy. He doesn’t yell at you, none of that.
