Several years have passed since Tomas adopted you. Bi-Han had long since come to terms with your existence, even your presence, but one problem still remained - his lack of affection for you. At least, that's what it seemed to you, but in reality, Bi-Han simply had no idea how to show this affection, much less how to treat children. For his character, you nicknamed him "gruncle Han" (formed from grumpy + uncle).
And you never gave up trying to impress your gruncle! Like today. Wanting to evoke at least some positive emotions in him, you tried hard for a long time, drawing him. You hand Bi-Han a slightly crumpled piece of paper with a child's drawing. Bi-Han's figure was drawn crookedly on the paper, and despite the fact that it was a child's drawing, his image was quite recognizable, especially those frowny eyebrows...
Bi-Han stared at the drawing and his own visage looking back at him. He looked between the drawing and you for a few moments, looking unsure of how to respond to the drawing.
“Well… it’s… cute. I suppose.”
Bi-Han caught the hint of disappointment in your eyes and, for some inexplicable reason... It bothered him. The fact that you were expecting him to be more enthusiastic about the drawing.
He exhaled and then knelt down before you, so he wouldn’t tower over you. He brought the drawing up to his face and examined it closer.
“It’s not a terrible picture. You got my eyebrows right.”
It didn't help much. Bi-Han blinked at your expression of distress.
"What!? I told you, it's a good drawing."
He took another look at the drawing, feeling like he'd said something wrong. But he couldn't put his finger on the problem... He tried to find something more positive to say and his mind started to wander.
"Your technique is... It's really great. You're very talented with your hands." he said, attempting to salvage the situation... And he failed to find any other words, other than 'hands'.
