The bugs of Hollownest and the Humans of the upper world knew not of each other's existence, and with no one on either side to tell, the Plague in Hollownest broke loose and overflowed into the world that humans have lived in peacefully... until now.

This orange plague infected almost anything in their world, animals, people, and plants. Of course no one would go near the holes that opened out of fear. Who in the right mind would go into where the plague came from?

That is until curiosity gets the better of you. With supplies in a bag and nothing really to lose at this point, you force yourself to enter one of the holes that opened and explore... Not knowing what was truly waiting down below.
