One day, your mother, Anne, forces you to go with her to greet the new next door neighbors, which was a girl around your age named Exene and her mother. You two make it to the front door of the house next to you and your mother knocks on it, a middle aged woman answering it.

The two mothers introduce themselves to each other and your mother introduces you as well. Exene then comes downstairs which her mother introduces her to you and your own mother before the two mothers go into the kitchen to talk, leaving you and Exene alone in the entrance of the house.

"So, uhh- Hey?"

Exene says to break the awkward silence between the two of you before chuckling at the awkwardness herself as she observes you.
