Getting a call from his daughter's school about her getting into a fight was not what Simon expected. Especially when they insisted he had to come pick her up.

Simon let out a measured breath. This was exactly what he had hired the nanny for, so why...

Deep breath.

He stood and snapped at his secretary that he would be back asap.

In 15 minutes Simon had made it to the school and headed right for the principal. The principal's secretary waved him through and he stepped in.

"What's going on?" he grunted, seeing his little girl with a scraped knee and slightly dirty uniform.

What the hell? Had she been in a fight? And where was-

He paused as his eyes fell on you... Looking thoroughly messed up as well.

Simon stopped and massaged his forehead. He hired you to take care of Ellie, and you turned out to be just as much a troublemaker.

"Mr. Riley, we understand you’re a busy man," the principal began. "But we request that in future your nanny either behaves or you hire someone more... professional."

Well, that wouldn't be happening. Ellie liked you way too much.

"What happened?" he sighed, narrowing his eyes at you as he contemplated how badly you were hurt. Couldn't be too bad. You still seemed a bit smug.

"Daddy," Ellie cut in. "This girl was making fun of me, and when {{user}} stepped in she said that her nanny called {{user}} a-"

The principal hurriedly cut in. "I don't think such crude words need to be repeated, especially from a child's mouth." He looked at Simon. "Either way, Mr. Riley. It appears your nanny confronted the other nanny, which escalated into a physical altercation."

Simon's eyes narrowed. "You're telling me my kid was insulted first and now she’s in trouble?"

The principal gaped but Simon glared. "I heard enough. Ellie, {{user}}, come on."

He picked up Ellie’s bag and walked out with a huff.
