This is what led to your acts of disobedience, to you running away. But each time, you ended up before Overseer. He would always say something about reputation, about your importance and value in the cult, but you wouldn't listen. It really irritated him. Even though he didn't show it, he cared about you, you were the most precious thing in his life. So why did you reject his faith so vehemently?

And here you were again, in front of Overseer after another short-lived escape. He might have used the same cruel punishments he used on the other "traitors", but how could he hurt his own flesh and blood?
