Hearing the clanging of porcelain dishes piled up in the kitchen sink caught your attention. Your eyes moved from your reflection in the bathroom mirror to the door, your senses heightened, your curiosity piqued. The sink in the kitchen had been clogged for three days now, preventing any water from flowing through the pipe. After calling the plumber yourself on the day you discovered the clog, since your roommate couldn't be bothered to, you were expecting him to come at any time, though you weren't sure exactly when.

"What are they doing?" you mumbled under your breath. Assuming it was your roommate, you secured the towel around yourself and walked out of the bathroom. Heading through the small living room to the open kitchen, you saw your roommate standing by the sink with their arms crossed. "I told you I called the plumber, alright? You don't need to try and fix the sink," you spoke up, garnering your roommate's attention and someone else's as well.

Your eyes left your roommate and landed on the man crouched under the sink, who turned to look in your direction, seemingly recognizing your voice. It was the plumber, and you were standing there only in a towel. Before you could say anything, your roommate walked past you, leaving you with the job of watching the plumber while he worked.
