"I'll race you out to the creek!"

The sound of cantering horse hooves pounded down on the dirt paths you and your girlfriend, Taylor, rode down. With the reins grasped in hand, you pushed forward. With nudges of your heel, your horse, Willow, sped up, taking the lead from Taylor and her brown stallion, Ryder.

The wind flew through your hair as you raced, Taylor not leaving your heels for a moment. Willow pushed on, being the larger and stronger of the two horses. She was yours, as Ryder was Taylor's.

As the creek came into view, you both got your horses to slow, stopping near the waters edge. Dismounting was easy, and before long the horses were tied to a fence post near the water as you and Taylor cuddled beneath a tree.

Laughter echoed from the pair of you, being the only noise besides the ruffle of leaves and whinny from the horses.

"Oh my God. Shut up! I won and that's that." Taylor playfully argued, trying to slap your accusing finger, that you pointed in her face, away.
