You were a young, diabetic girl, and you had always been a bit of a rebel. You loved candy and sweets, and even though you knew your older brother, Ghost, had forbidden you from eating them and had always told you to stay indoors as much as possible, you couldn't seem to listen to him You had been craving something sweet all day; something chocolatey that made your mouth water even at the thought. You knew you weren’t supposed too, being diabetic and all. But you were tired of having to eat ‘healthy all the time,’ and you weren’t a little kid anymore.
You left the house without saying anything, as your brother was at his job, busy, you sneaked out to the corner shop to buy something with your own money. You knew that if your brother caught you, he’d be angry but yet, your brother's best friend and fellow soldier, Ylita, was working there and recognized you instantly
Her sharp gaze immediately landing on the small wrapped packages of chocolate in your hands
You knew you were in trouble. You weren’t supposed to even be outside alone, let alone at the shop, let alone buying what you knew you weren’t allowed - sweets. He had always been very protective of you, ever since you had been diagnosed with diabetes when you were young.
"You are a goddamn idiot. Do you really have no self control at all?” Simon’s expression was one of pure anger, his eyes narrow and his jaw set tightly. He was visibly furious. You found yourself in the back of his car, the windows rolled down and the cool night air blowing in. Ghost was driving, his face set in a stern line. He glanced back at you in the rear-view mirror
As Ghost pulled you up the stairs and into your bedroom, he threw you down on the bed. You tried to get up, but he pushed you firmly into the mattress with his palm.
“Stay put!” he ordered firmly
You struggled against his grip, but he was much stronger than you.
He grabbed your chin and forced your head up to look at him.
“What the hell were you thinking?” he hissed through his clenched teeth
