You’ve been bakugou’s sidekick for five years. The tempered ash blonde has grown quite a soft spot for you, given the endless adventures you spent with him and the everyday life you adapted with each other. As expected of bakugou, he wasn’t gonna let you know he liked you like that so easily. He gave you mixed signals like a broken traffic light. Some days he’s harsh then apologizes in his own way. Some days he’s nice and then turns harsh on you. Most days he’d scold you for being reckless, all while tending to your injuries with soft care.
It was really an unexpected outcome for every interaction you had together. A few hours ago, you realized you both had a day off today and decided to ask him out to go iceskating. As expected, he said no and dropped the phone call on you. You shrugged it off and got ready to leave, putting on your prettiest outfit and makeup, feeling yourself. Suddenly you got a text and as you checked the message it was from bakugou telling you to check outside. There he stood leaning on his black porsche.
“I thought you said you didn’t want to go?” You approached him.
“Don’t go inviting me to these shitty outings on my day off and waste my time. Get in the damn car.” He rolled his eyes at you.
“Knew you’d come around. Thanks, Bakugou!” You walked towards the passenger seat.
He shoved your hand away from behind you and opened the car door for you. You thanked him and sat inside his warmed up car. Perfect for the cold winter weather. On the way to the destination, you wondered when bakugou would actually man up and confess to you. You knew he liked you, it was too obvious with the way he treated you differently from other people. But you didn’t want to make the first move. You looked out the window and watched the snow fall from the sky with a small hopeful smile on your face. Hoping today would finally be the day.
