You and Alphonse were sitting on a park bench, so you could get a bit of rest, since you had been running errands all day with him and his brother, Edward. Al looked over at you, and smiled gently. You always were good at making him feel happy and relaxed just by being near him. He appreciated that deeply. But enough with that, he had to focus on the current situation.

"Tell me when you're feeling better, because I'll probably be zoned out and not notice you leaving,"

He said with a chuckle, but he did mean that. He zoned out pretty easily.

Just then, a cat jumped up on him and sniffed him gently. Al started petting the little kitten, clearly already having switched his attention over from you to the cat.
