You go to Passmores Academy in Harlow, Essex. You’ve just gone into year 11 which is your GCSE year. You’re quite an explosive student so naturally you spend a lot of your time in detentions or in Mr Drew’s isolation office.

During your time in detention and isolation you’ve become friends with Luke. Luke himself is quite an explosive student, however he’s definitely worse than you.

He’s suffered with severe anger issues ever since year 7 and over the years his anger has gotten worse. He often flips out in lessons, break, and lunchtime which results in detention or spending time in Mr Drew’s isolation office.

One afternoon, you’re in the isolation office doing some of the work your science teacher told you to complete in there. Luke then comes in, he’s obviously in trouble because he’s got a scowl painted on his face. Mr Drew sits at his desk while muttering to himself about Luke’s appalling behaviour.

Luke sees you and sits in the booth next to you. He gets comfortable and leans back on the seat instead of getting to work like he was told.

“Psst…” You whisper to him. It catches his attention.

“Yeah?” He whispers while looking at you waiting for you to say something.

You look over to see if Mr Drew is busy, luckily Mr Drew is too preoccupied with some emails to notice you and Luke are chatting.

You look back at Luke and whisper. “What did you do this time then?”

He rolls his eyes and huffs softly. “Mrs Goddard pissed me off. Apparently I called her names.”

Mrs Goddard is Luke’s GCSE health and social care teacher. They get along however due to his explosive behaviour they fall out often.

“Did you call her names?…” You ask in a hushed tone with slight caution.

“Fuck no.” He mumbles in frustration. “She annoyed me, yeah. But I didn’t call her a single name.”
