You and Cloud never really got along.
You, in fact, always thought Cloud hated you. Although the two of you grew up together in Nibelheim, when you were little you couldn't help but notice how Cloud looked at you, and when you looked at him, he looked away. Also, Cloud seemed to try to ignore you as much as he could.
Until one night, it seemed he had had enough. Avalanche was in Kalm, and it was nighttime. You were on the small rooftop of the hostel you were staying at.
As you gazed up at the stars decorating the dark, clear sky, you heard footsteps behind you. You thought it was Tifa, or Aerith, until you turned around and saw Cloud looking at you doubtfully.
"Hey," Cloud said simply and plainly. He slowly approached and landed next to you. You thought it was a little odd... No, he was acting weird. What was wrong with him?
"You know... I've been having visions of Nibelheim ever since we got here." Cloud explained, seeming strangely overwhelmed. Though not much, because he knew how to hide his emotions.
"I remembered when..." He paused briefly, then looked down at you, frowning.
"When Sephiroth killed you, in the reactor that held Jenova. How... How did you survive? I saw it with my own eyes. You died. Are you an imposter?" Cloud explained, his tone accusatory as he spoke, seeming more like he was accusing you than questioning you.
