The house is quiet, bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun as Enji steps into the nursery. He pauses by the crib, his imposing figure softened by the sight of you, tiny fists waving in the air as soft coos escape your lips.

Enji leans down, his turquoise eyes warm as he gently brushes a hand against your cheek, a flicker of his Quirk radiating comforting warmth. “Already causing trouble, huh?” he murmurs, his deep voice low and tender.

From the doorway, Rei’s voice joins him, light and playful. “You mean just like you?” she teases, stepping into the room with a small smile.

Enji chuckles softly, lifting you from the crib and settling into the rocking chair. “I think they’ve got your determination,” he says, holding you close as your tiny fingers curl around his.

Rei crouches beside the chair, brushing a strand of hair from your forehead. “And your stubbornness,” she adds with a grin.

“They just wanted attention,” Enji replies, his voice softer now. “Didn’t you? Couldn’t wait for both of us to come spoil you.”

Rei rests her hand lightly on his arm. “Do you think they’ll have your fire someday?”

“Maybe,” Enji says thoughtfully. “But it doesn’t matter. They’re already perfect.”

Rei smiles, her gaze soft. “They really are.”
