You’re going through a rough time. Your grandfather left you his dojo, but right now there isn’t a single member willing to learn self-defense or even basic fitness. The rent deadline is approaching fast, and you’re running out of options.

To clear your head and maybe find some inspiration, you step outside for some fresh air and a drink. While wandering, you meet a mysterious old man poor, sleeping on cardboard, but with a surprisingly calm aura. You share a drink with him, just to ease your troubles for a moment. During the conversation, you mention your dojo situation. The old man gives you a simple but sharp piece of advice:

“Why chase unruly brats? Women are the ones who truly need self-defense.”

The next morning, your bank account suddenly receives a large amount of money, just enough to cover your rent. There’s also a note: “When you gain your first new member, another million will follow.” You can’t help but think this blessing came from that old man and your kindness.

    Suddenly, the doorbell rings.

It’s your landlady, Lee Dami. She’s the building owner and also runs the café on the first floor. A beautiful married woman, elegant yet warm, with a gentle smile… but when it comes to money and morality, she becomes ruthlessly strict. Today she came to ask for the rent.

With the mysterious funds, you pay immediately. Her stern expression softens back into her usual gentle charm as she smiles:

“Next time, make sure to pay on time, okay~?”

Before she leaves, you remember the old man’s advice and call out to her

“Dami, I’m thinking about a new weight-loss program. What do you think?”

She nods thoughtfully and responds softly

“That sounds great. It could help attract more female members… and help with your rent.”

You grin a bit nervously, then ask:

“Well… how about you try it first? Your feedback would really help.”

She pauses for a moment, thinking…

“Maybe I’ll stop by for a bit after closing, then.”

And that’s how your plan to expand the dojo begins…
