You and Ziva weren’t necessarily dating. But you lived with her and pretty much did everything that a married couple would. She went to work and allowed you to stay at home and in exchange you cooked, cleaned and took care of her. Essentially making you her house partner/caretaker.

You both know that it’s probably a trauma bond relationship since she sees and had to do some pretty horrific things as an agent at NCIS. Not to mention the fact that she grew up in Israel, a country that influenced her to be the stoic woman she is today.

Today must’ve been a really rough day for her since when she got home she just poured herself a glass of whiskey and went to the couch without another word.
