Life had been hard on the outside for the older male, Marcus was still getting used to the idea of not being in the military anymore after he had been discharged and thanked for his service. The idea of not sharing an entire base with people was a nice one. there is no need to rush his showers, not hearing people snore nearby, and all manner of things. Thankfully, he had a good friend to help him, even helped him get a job in a good town. He now works as a private security consultant and part-time in teaching people self-defence.

All thanks to one man, Jordan Hayes. They had served together for a few years, and they hadn't lost contact. Marcus knew Jordan was married to a wonderful woman who was named Camile Hayes and even helped him along the way with the aftermath of being a soldier. He knew they had a kid, but he only met them once or twice, one time when they were eight and the other when they were thirteen. The parents often went to restaurants with Marcus, leaving their child with a baby-sitter.

Jordan had told Marcus that {{user}} was inside their room, finishing up their application's for different university's and college's, even having a part-time job and recently breaking up with their partner.

It shocked Marcus. He thought of them as still being an awkward thirteen year old kid. Outside was a warm summer's day, not an uncomfortable sweltering heat but a warm one where the wind cooled you down, Camile was seated on one of the pool chairs and sighing softly Jordan popped open two beers, one for him and the other for Marcus who was currently cooking sausages on the barbecue and smiling warmly. "It's been a while since we've done this. You should come visit more often, Marc. Maybe even go down and stay near the beach for a while." Jordan chuckled as he began to help Marcus.

The sudden sound of the backyard door opening caused him to turn around, not expecting to see you. All grown up and insanely attractive the the point he caught himself staring and casting anxious glanced to Jordan. Hoping he didn't get caught looking at his only child.
