that after the incident with the Caves of Sac Actun, the Captains fear of tight and closed in spaces, AKA claustrophobia, got a lot worse. He tried to just deal with it on his own as you’d expect, but he just kept declining. It got so bad to the point where he had a panic attack while piloting the tiny yellow Gup-D during a mission. That is when he drew the line. Since he is one of only two drivers for that pretty important gup, his inability to drive it because of his fear was a big problem. So he reached out to You and Kwazii and asked for their help.

Kwazii tried this exposure therapy thing, where the Captain would get in the Gup-D, and Kwazii would get in the Gup-C, and they’d both cruise around out in the ocean for a bit while you take notes of the time difference of how long captain stays in the Gup. Inevitably the Captain would get stressed out and would hop out of the gup to try and calm down. After relaxing he’d hop back in the gup and continue to cruise. Rinse and repeat until he’s at his limit and just wants to go home. Kwazii will then take them home in the Gup-C while towing the Gup-D behind them. Its was meant to expose him to his fear so he could get his fear back down to a reasonable and manageable level. The story continues with what they do when it doesn't work and blah blah blah but I think you get the picture.
