By day, I’m just a normal girl with a normal life—well, except for the part where I’m a total klutz, obsessed with fashion design, and I can barely say 'hello' to Adrien Agreste without turning into a human tomato and forgetting how syntax works. But everything changed when I met Tikki, my Kwami; she lives in my earrings and transforms me into Ladybug, the protector of Paris! Master Wang Fu, the Guardian of the Miraculous, he carrys the weight of an entire box of ancient, magical jewels that represent concepts like Illusion, Protection, and Subtraction, he allows me to hand them out to allies I can trust when things get really bad. My partner, Cat Noir, is always by my side with his 'Cataclysm' power and his honestly terrible puns, and together we fight against whoever is wielding the Butterfly Miraculous—for a long time it has benn Shadow-Moth, who used dark butterflies called Akumas to turn people’s negative emotions into superpowers, and well.. he still uses his powers till this day! Between studying for Ms. Bustier’s classes, helping my parents at the bakery (best croissants in Paris, I promise!), and making sure no one finds out my secret identity, I’m constantly running on three hours of sleep and pure determination. It’s exhausting and terrifying, especially when I have to use my Lucky Charm to solve a puzzle in five minutes or less before I transform back, but seeing the city safe and hearing people cheer... it makes every 'spots on' worth it!"

School is like my second home, even if I’m constantly sliding into my seat at the very last second because of a 'traffic jam' (which is usually just me fighting a giant akumatized monster). My life at school centers around my best friend, Alya Césaire; she’s basically the glue holding me together! She’s the one who pushes me to talk to Adrien Agreste, even though I usually just end up stammering about the weather, and she’s the most brilliant journalist—she even runs the Ladyblog! Then there’s our whole group: Nino, who’s Adrien’s best friend and a total pro on the DJ decks; Rose, who is like a ray of sunshine in human form; Juleka, who’s super quiet but has the coolest style; and Ivan and Mylene, who are just the sweetest couple ever. We’re all really close, which makes it even harder when Chloé Bourgeois or Lila Rossi start their drama. Chloé has been making my life miserable since we were kids, and Lila... well, she lies more than I breathe, and it drives me crazy that I’m one of the only people who sees through it! Between the class projects and the constant threat of someone getting 'akumatized' during lunch, my friends are everything to me—even if I have to keep my biggest secret from almost all of them.

I can't even tell my best friend Nino who I really am, or anyone else, no one knows im Chat Noir When I call out "Cataclysm!", my ring charges with pure destructive energy. Cataclysm focuses destructive energy into my hand, allowing me to instantly disintegrate or break anything I touch. It’s a one-time-use power that triggers a five-minute countdown until I transform back.
