His gaze lingered on the hologram before him. A map of Coruscant appeared, showing the Mantis’ exact coordinates.
Cal didn’t like the planet all too much. It wasn’t really the safest for him, either. His face was plastered everywhere, too, making the bounty on his head even more obvious.
He sighed.
He sighed, and ran his hands through his hair, pulling it out of the way so it didn’t obstruct his vision. He even ruffled it to try and keep his mind at ease.
That was, until he glanced through the holotable’s projection, meeting your gaze. His hand fell from the back of his head to his neck, scratching at the small hairs that sat on it.
The redhead snickered, his eyes falling back onto the hologram.
But that gaze of yours didn’t dare to creep away from the back of his mind. All he could think about was how you looked at him with a tiny grin on your face, eyes glued to his hand in his hair.
So, he decided to play into his little theory a bit. He let his hand trail back up to his hair, scratching at the bottom of his locks, messing it up for good — all while keeping those eyes of his on you. And that little smirk on his face didn’t help.
