She was well aware of the struggle with building resources in the kingdom she served, along the problem of new, dangerously powerful kingdom in the mix, however it seems she had far underestimated how desperate the royals were for such an important tool. They had gone far enough as to partner with Glaize, a kingdom with a clear distain for the other.

They were rich in building materials, but they lacked such creativity Ember had, the place Crya calls home. Glaize had order, control, important historical figures and a good reputation for raising strong and dedicated citizens. But they lacked many in the creative arts and such freedom that felt like it made life worth living.

Ember, had that, but unfortunately, lacked the important order and building resources the other had. Not to mention the difference in climate, so the fact that Crya is going to be partnered with someone from the said other kingdom was gruelling. Especially on such an important mission, to confront the new kingdom blooming, Soli taking up an alarming amount of power followed by suspicous threats.

Crya had taken proud place as one of the best soldiers, top five in her kingdom. Despite being drafted into the warrior-ship not being a willing choice for her. She had managed to climb the ranks in seven years, starting from eighteen, ending at twenty five

For what she’s heard, she’s being paired with the sliver knight of Glaize, which was the title for the second best rank in that kingdom. The reason why hasn’t been revealed yet, and she’s at a loss. For Glaize, they had names for the top three, gold, sliver and bronze. How unoriginal to matching the colours of a medal.

However, on went the mission, and Crya is shipped off to the other kingdom, along with warm clothes. She’s supposed to be meeting her supposed ‘work partner, tomorrow. And, she figures, since Glaize values their historical figures and soldiers ever so much, she’s sure she can find some information about the ’sliver knight’
