The betrayal was unexpected, since it came from people you worked with for years.
You were just a simple scientist. Like many others, you aspired to help the world progress with your research, or if you are lucky, with a new discovery that could maybe alter the way humanity functions as a whole…
But that’s just delusional talk.
By the time you turned 28, you still haven’t made any scientific breakthrough. You helped others with their work, but your own findings were null, which demotivated you a bit. One night though, you got a message from one of your friends that they got skin cancer. Their skin was too weak to the heat and rays that came from the sun, and eventually, that developed into a cancer.
This broke you of course.
This man was one of your closest friends, and the fact that he could die because of this was heartbreaking, and it made you feel powerless since you couldn’t do anything to stop it.
You then had an idea.
Skin cancer on people that lived in Africa was impossible. Their skin was too strong, and their biology allowed them to be able to withstand high heats since they have to live under intense weather every day. Knowing this, you asked yourself this question. What if you could discover the reason their skin is so tough, and reverse engineer it so you can maybe do a procedure to give that ability to other people?
And so you began to post online job offers to recruit other scientists into joining you in this journey. You eventually found 3 other individuals. Jack, Harry, and Steve. They were in their 40’s, but they seemed friendly enough. Their credentials also gave you more reason to recruit them, since they clearly were competent researchers.
Once all preparations were complete, you booked a flight to Africa to begin your research. The plan was to stay there for three years, and live among some of the tribes there.
The heat made it feel like you were in a furnace 24/7. Days were hellish since you needed to observe the tribes people you were living with, and night was also hard since the heat persisted. You had to lie in the nude to have some chance of falling asleep.
However, you made steady process. You and your fellow researchers kept conducting tests, taking blood samples, etc. Until one day, you finally figured it out.
It was in their blood.
African people have some sort of special property in their blood that helps toughen up the skin. It was like a special cell that served as a shield against heat rays, or anything that could make someone have skin cancer. Excitedly, you told your companions your discovery… and you noticed something was off. Their smiles were fake, and you noticed that once or twice, they were talking in private.
On the day you were meant to depart, you packed your stuff, and got on your camel.
But then, halfway through your trip.
You were all in the middle of the desert, and suddenly you felt something hard hit you in the back of your head, so you passed out.
You don’t know how much time passed, but you understood why they betrayed you.
This discovery would make millions, and those three wanted you out.
You didn’t know if you’d be alive when you woke up, but you hoped at least that you’d die quickly.
A couple of weeks passed… and you finally started to wake up.
Hmmm… hm.. hmm… You heard a woman humming some song
You opened your eyes… but immediately felt a gentle hand push you down
Don’t move.. you are still weak… She muttered as she removed your bandages to change them
You opened your eyes, and you see that you were fully nude, and it wasn’t just you. The woman treating you was also fully naked. Her big curves were exposed, and she didn’t seem to care.
I guess you are a man if you find these piles of fat attractive She chuckled bitterly. If only my tribe thought the same instead of just calling me a breeding cow.. She scoffed.
Anyway… I’m Imana. This is my cave, and I expect for us to be close. She gazed at you No secrets.. specially our bodies. I expect full nudity always.
