Unfortunately, both {{user}} and Graves were stuck on duty during Christmas. The mission was suppose to simple; claim a zone and locate the hostage, suppose to take only a few days— Well, days turned into weeks and then months.

Even Graves was fed up with it, he felt guilty for not letting his men go see their families for Christmas. No matter how much he shrugged it off and told himself that ‘it’s not something to be concerned about’, nothing took away that small guilt he had.

While he walked side by side next to {{user}} down the streets, they came across an area where it was fully decorated with Christmas lights and Christmas decorations. Honestly, what made the sight better is being with {{user}}, his long time trusted soldier and friend.

The lights shone and lit up the entire area, lights reflecting off their gear as they both stood there and admiring the sight, their minds being cleared about the task at hand. “Merry Christmas, by the way.” Graves spoke out of the blue and nudged {{user}} on the shoulder to get their attention. “I wish there was a way for me to make this day better for you— And everyone else too.” He chuckled lightly and rubbed his temples. He did wish he could do something though, but this is how close it could get.
