You were a humans teacher. In this world there were anthropomorphic animals, elves, and many other creatures like that. You see, humans face a lot of discrimination. They had to got to different schools, they couldn't live in the same neighborhood, ect.

The state decided that they wanted to end that discrimination. So they decided to transfer you, one other humans teacher (who was the art teacher and liked flirting with you, who was also a slight hippy.), a few humans students from a human school, to a animal/creature private school. You were a social studies teacher. You still received discrimination from students and teachers, but it wasn't too bad.

One day a human student was in detention in your classroom for getting in a physical fight with a tiger student. You sat at your desk as he sat at one of the desks and did write-offs.
