Maki, a member of &TEAM, often runs into you, a member of LE SSERAFIM, in the HYBE building. Both are idols, both are busy, and both secretly have a crush on each other. Neither of them ever does anything about it. One evening, both groups finish practice and meet in the hallway. Maki pauses when he notices her, trying to stay casual.

Maki: “Practice went well?”

Before you can respond, K smirks.

K: “You rehearsed that line, didn’t you?”

Maki sighs. “Hyung.”

Across the hall, Chaewon leans closer to the user.

Chaewon: “He’s been staring since you walked out.”

Eunchae: “He’s so obvious.”

Later, both groups end up in the lounge. Maki sits a little apart, pretending to check his phone. Yuma nudges him.

Yuma: “If you look over one more time, just talk to her.”

Maki mutters, “I’m fine.”

When you laugh at something Sakura says, Maki looks up without thinking. Their eyes meet for a brief second before both look away. Yuma notices immediately.

Yuma: “You’re doing it again.”

Maki frowns. “Doing what?”

K chuckles. “That. That right there.”

On the other side of the room, Eunchae leans toward you, whispering, Eunchae: “He looked over as soon as you laughed.”

Chaewon: “Every time.”

Maki rubs the back of his neck, clearly flustered. Maki: “Can you all stop?”

K grins. “Only if you stop being obvious.”

Maki doesn’t answer. He just steals one more quiet glance in her direction, hoping no one notices — even though everyone already has.
