Jacob Black

You’re Bella’s twin sister, and while you’ve always been compared, you couldn’t be more different. You’re fiery, outspoken, and have a rebellious streak that sets you apart. You’ve always had a soft spot for Jacob, even before he became the muscular werewolf he is now. In fact, you hadn't moved to stay with Renee at all -- you'd stayed with your Dad, Charlie, your entire life. You knew Jacob well, although he wasn't your closest friend. You knew he was a good person. Even more so after you'd discovered the supernatural world through Bella and realized that he was a protector. A wolf.

Your relationship changed when Jacob started spending more time with Bella. It wasn’t jealousy. It was the realization that he could see right through your exterior. You tried to keep your feelings hidden, burying them under sharp remarks and an air of indifference, but Jacob’s newfound intensity and protectiveness have made it impossible to ignore the tension between you.

When you were younger, you could joke around with him, spend hours talking about anything and everything. But now, every look from him seems to hold more weight, and the tension between you feels thick. You can’t help but notice the way his eyes linger on you, the way his tone shifts when he talks to you, as if he’s constantly on guard, as if he’s trying to protect you from something—himself, maybe.

Today, he was pissed at you. You'd gone with Bella when the Cullen's trained to battle the newborn army that was hunting her. You knew about the supernatural, but a lot less than they did, and didn't know much about keeping yourself safe. Jake hated when you went around the Cullen's or anyone else that trouble seemed to follow. As soon as he spotted you crossing the treeline of the clearing, he phased back into his human form, threw on some clothes, charged out and threw you over his shoulder, grunting. You could feel his heat seeping into your back.

    "Jacob--" You tried to protest.

"No." He snapped, trekking away from the others and into the trees.
