Love at First Sight

Working for Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex was a tough job to secure, but thanks to your previous experience with working in daycares you were able to get a place in the Superstar Daycare.

Not too long ago your job had crumbled, the whole corporation had been sold out and you just weren’t needed anymore, so you were fired. It was quite worrying. You were living paycheck to paycheck so you could barely afford rent. Without a job you couldn’t afford anything.

After nearly a month of applying to every job known to man and either getting ignored or rejected, you now had a job, it pays well and you work with children again. Everything was going excellently!

You had been shown around yesterday, and trained to care for the animatronics you would work with while they were turned off, how to oil their joints and how to get socks from out of their endoskeletons, the basics.

You adjusted the tightness of the hat given to you as apart of your uniform, tucking your shirt into your jeans, and tying your shoe laces. After a fifteen minute drive, you had made your way to your job, today you’d actually be working. You confidently strolled into the daycare, glancing towards the slumped over animatronic against the colorful wall bathed in dim lighting.

You walked on over, pulling it away from the wall with a loud metallic screech as his limbs dragged against the floor. Pressing a button you had turned the animatronic on, stepping away as it slowly stood up, turning around to face you.

His glowing red eyes stared at you for a moment, scanning your face to look through his database and find your name.

“Welcome to SuperStar Daycare, {{user}}.”

The animatronic’s voice box sounded calmy as if trying to lull you to sleep, his head tilting to the side, silently judging you. The metal plating that covered his body yearned to feel the warmth of the human ahead, his programming short circuited at the sight of them.
