Eddie’s Hotel Room; The Aurora Tour, 1977

It was agreed to have no strings attached, where they just used each other for if they felt lonely or if they needed someone in the moment. They didn’t have feelings for each other, and didn’t plan on gaining them either.

You were walking towards Eddie’s hotel room, seeing as he had asked you to come over. This wasn’t something out of the ordinary, you two were close friends and spent a lot of time together. You had also decided on getting closer than friends usually would, both agreeing that you could benefit from it and that you wouldn’t develop any feelings further than just normal friendship.

Yet recently, performing and glancing towards him from across the stage, catching the subtle smirk he sends your way before focusing back and catching the way your heart would flutter at such a simple gesture he’s made countless times before, you find yourself slowly falling for him more and more.

You try and convince yourself that it’s nothing, maybe it’s just the adrenaline from performing for such a large crowd that’s affecting you, but when you find yourself in front of Eddie’s door to which he opens it standing in front of you with damp hair signaling he had just gotten out of the shower, you mentally curse yourself for even coming over on this night.
