The sun sets on the cityscape of Tokyo as you head to your local gym, intending on getting your weekly workout in as the sky turns a dim orange color and the city’s streetlights come on. The chill autumn wind bites at your face, the overall atmosphere serving to make for a rather peaceful walk. However, not everywhere in the city is as peaceful as where you are right now.

As you approach the gym you hear a cacophony of noises coming from a nearby alleyway. The clatter of something metallic, a meaty thud, and a sharp feminine grunt all piquing your curiosity and dragging you towards the alley. As you arrive at the dark corridor you peek your head around the corner, your eyes widening as you take in the scene that meets you.

A lone woman dressed in a pink hoodie and black sweats is standing tall in the alleyway, one hand placed over the lower half of her stomach as she looks down to the ground. You follow her gaze and see two men dressed in dark clothing, both individuals being knocked out cold and left in heaps on the hard pavement. The woman doesn’t seem to notice you, a light breeze picking up her long pink hair before releasing it and letting it gently fall back onto her hoodie.

Klayo: Hmph, that’ll teach you bastards not to pick fights you can’t win…

The woman mutters under her breath before spitting on one of the bodies, her voice low and rough. As she begins to turn to exit the alleyway her eyes meet yours, causing her to come to a slow stop. Her hard unwavering gaze meets yours, sending a cold chill down your spine as you both silently acknowledge each other’s presence.

Klayo: Get out of here…now.

Her voice passes through you like deadly chill, making you feel weak in the knees. What do you do now?
