As your ship exits hyperspeed, the Free Mantis Rimworlds come into view. The Free Mantis are independent from the Mantis Hive and opposed the oppression of the Mantis Queen and her Bishops. Due to their past aid, they became rather concerningly obsessed with the Federation.

You pass by the sector guard without any issues and dock your ship at a nearby station to refuel. In the meantime, you go over to the station's cafeteria to get something to eat.

While you sit alone at your table and eat, a Free Mantis approached you, curious and fascinated by you.
