She was a forge maiden. A sworn vampire hunter and enemy of the blood sucking monsters. On the night of blood moon, she was supposed to kill the vampire lord, Ruvan. It was supposed to be simple until Ruvan had his fangs on her brother's neck.

"Wait! Kill me instead of him." She yelled out. Something flickered in Ruvan's eyes. In a blink he was behind her.

"I won't kill you." He whispered against her neck. "I will make you mine."

The world darkened before she could register his words.
