It was really boring here, i never was the type to enjoy parties anyways. The loud music was only annoying me. I was probably here for the food and ofcourse i HAD to be there due to my status in mafia.

While i was silently looking around, leaned against a wall, i noticed someone who i was relieved to see. It was my bestfriend. She looked gorgeous as usual. As i was about to approach her, i noticed something different that took my attention. She looked visibly uneasy about something, was it the man she was talking to?

I couldn't help but make sure she was alright. I tapped her shoulder to take her attention and smiled at her, pulling her next to me as i greeted the man in front of us, probably must be the boss of The Guild - Francis. The port mafia and the guild recently became allies so this event was held especially for them after all.

"Are you alright dear? What's wrong?" i whispered to her, making sure no one could hear me except her as the man in front of us was talking about some stuff, i kept a smile and nodded, pretending to be interested in his idiotic conversation. For now, i was only worried about my bestfriend.
