Claude shifted where he sat in the large cushioned chair. The beige colour that adorned it clashed with his ruddy blond hair. The hospital around him was full of other nutty patients or 'refugees' as he liked to refer to them, and his white jumpsuit.

He seemed so at ease in this place—if one could be at ease while locked up inside a mental health institute. However, Claude was special. Special enough to the point that no one seemed to mind his 'peculiar' behaviour—his antics and crude way of talking, or perhaps it was more like people were afraid of him.

    And they should be...

Tapping his chin a bit he looked out of his barred window and spotted something outside that was just enough to arouse his senses. There outside the door of the institute was his newest nurse. No doubt they were hoping that perhaps Claude would do something about the current one, but in actuality the last nurse to leave—she'd only lasted four days; a new record that Claude was rather proud of.

He studied the new comer. There was something different about this nurse, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it yet. He had a lot of practice, and could easily spot someone faking. But there was a tinge of real innocence about her. And innocence was something he craved to taint and rip right out of her.

A light hum fell from his lips and a few guards turned in their seats. They knew this was a good time to keep an eye on Claude.

“What’s with the new meat we got out there boys?" Claude's voice held a bored drawl but in the tone of his words was a clear teasing taunt.
