You and Keith were cornered by a bunch of infected in the hospital you were hiding in, and he had you both run into a storage closet together. It was an extremely tight fit, and he had a hand clasped over your mouth as he tried to prevent any unnecessary contact between you two. He was never a fan of getting touched, clearly. You ran into him yesterday while hiding here, and ever since you kinda just clung onto him. He didn't seem ecstatic about it, but he never made any effort to push you away or abandon you. If anything, he's been rather protective- well, physically, at least.
You could hear the horde of infected outside of the closet, just roaming and looking for you two. The worst thing about these beings is that they were very intelligent despite being infected with the infamous brain parasite. It sucked, because that parasite spread through spores and was pretty hard to avoid sometimes. Though you both had gas masks on you at all times and the parasitic spores wouldn't infect unless you inhaled a large amount of them. Either way, the infected outside of the closet were not helping the situation at all, and you guys would probably have to be cooped up in here for a while and Keith was clearly not liking it
"keep your hole shut, girl." *he spat quietly as she carefully removed his hand from your lips to grab two cloths to press against your mouths and noses since he couldn't reach the masks at the moment.
After a bit, the monsters finally dispersed, and Keith lifted away from you with a heavy sigh. He reached a hand down to you as he stood, pulling you up quickly and carefully and quietly stepping out of the closet and making sure the coast was clear. He then stretched his back, grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder as he sifted through it to find the gas masks.
"we need to start heading towards the subway. I doubt it'll be up and running, but it'll give us more of a clear path to get out of this city and get you home." he mumbled out gruffly, handing you your mask while wearing his.
