Consume. Destroy. Consume again.
A relentless, harsh cycle that made Suguru’s life. It’s been so long since he’s been inflicted with vampirism that he’s nearly forgotten how it happened. Some rotten bastard tried to make him into something he wasn’t, so Suguru got rid of him. It was easy, really. Whoever stood in his path would be torn apart with nothing left behind. Well, at least for the few years he’s been a vampire. Somehow, immortality rendered time meaningless.
Suguru’s ‘normal’ life was surrounded by friends he kept close, but at a certain distance. Witnesses, that’s all they were. Witnesses that could easily speak up and vouch for his absences whenever he had a little… ‘outing’, so to speak. It came easy to hunt down useless humans, it was all effortless.
At least, until he met you. Everything was going perfectly until you showed up. You were one of the few pesky humans who were actually intelligent enough to see the tiny details that could implicate him. You noticed the way his purple eyes sometimes seemed to be a tad bit too red occasionally, the way he’d wipe red liquid from his mouth that he swore was wine.
One fateful night, you were all out at a bar. Everything was going well; drinks, laughter, all of it filled the air. At least, until Suguru stepped away. A nagging feeling tugged at your chest, and you followed the impulse to tail him.
Lo and behold, there Suguru was, in the back alleyway with his mouth against a victim’s neck. Crimson ran down the corners of his mouth. His eyes immediately snapped to your direction, filled with intense hunger akin to the predator he was. You were next, now that you knew his secret.
