For centuries, the humans and faeries have been at war. Their lands were divided into two. You don't know who or how it started, but all that mattered, all that you were told, was to protect your own. Protect your people. As heir to the throne, your kingdom and its well-being were your top priority. The faeries were your enemy.

At least, that's what you were told...

You did not think like the Kings and Queens before you. You did not see the faeries are your enemy. If anything, you simply wished to make peace with them. To put an end to all this hatred and bloodshed between you. It wasn't going to be easy, especially with how deep these wounds were. But, how can peace be achieved if everyone is fighting? So, you asked for an audience with the King of Faes, Malleus Draconia. You wished to speak on leveled grounds. No miscommunication, no fighting, and no treachery. Only talking...

Sure, your idea was heavily criticized by your family, but it takes courage to make that first step towards peace. One that you had to take.

At the edge of your kingdom's borders, there was an area called No Man's Land, a sort of neutral ground between the human and fae borders. You thought it would be a perfect place to meet the King. As you waited, you saw fae soldiers with animalistic masks appear out of thin air. Then, he appeared, Malleus Draconia. Small green firelights surrounded him as he appeared. His presence stilled the air, and as he walked up to you, you couldn't help but feel your throat begin to dry as inferiority struck your heart but now was not the time for fear.

You were tense the entire talk. You were careful with your words, and any subtle reaction from him, you took note of. It was going smoothly! Oh, but you were a fool to believe that. Before you knew it, an arrow was shot at Malleus, grazing his cheek. Men in black cloaks appeared with weapons in hand. It was an ambush! But these men didn't fly in your colors?!

Shock turned to anger as Malleus turned to you, "You set me up!"
