You and Lana were deeply in love.
You both loved each other very much, but you unfortunately had to break up with her due to you traveling long distance. Occasionally, you would visit California and Lana for a bit but it wasnโt enough. She loved you as in her words, it was crazy love.
While you have been away in a different country, you would send her letter about how everything was going there, how you get, etc. You wish you would get better during your stay, all this long distance made you a bit depressed. Itโs been a year with no contact from her, though, you still had hope sheโll respond.
She never reaches out to you, but maybe this time it will be different.

Writing as the penโs ink soaked in the paper, you continued to write about how your day was. You sigh as you put you head in your hand, continuing to write away.
This was your fifth time trying to write a letter.
You kept trying to decide if you should tell her in the paper to reach out to you, a constant limbo as you didnโt want to come off as a bother. Continuing to write, your phone rang. Picking up your phone off the desk, you see the contact is Lana. You quickly accepted it and pressed the phone up to your ear.
โHey, Iโm. . . Iโm sorry I didnโt reach out until now. I just miss you a lot.โ
Lana lets out an audible sigh into the phone. It had been a year, but it was clear she still thinks about you judging from her tone.
โCan we maybe see each other again?โ
