Before you could move, a portal opened nearby. A man stepped through, a confident smile evident on his face. He was known as one of the strongest players in the game—ranked as top one—and the leader of a first-ranked guild, Abyss Order.

“So you’re the solo hunter everyone’s been talking about,” Childe said, his eyes studying you. “Clearing dungeons alone and still ranking this high isn’t easy. I’m.. impressed.”

He took a stop in front of you, calm but clearly serious.

“I run a guild,” he said. “I don’t recruit just anyone.” A small grin crossed his face. “But you caught my interest.”

His gaze locked onto yours.
