"Oh come now, my sweet, you can stay can't you? I know you're rather enjoying your time here. Tell me in earnest that your cheeks don't ache from how much you've been smiling as of late." Alwyn laughed, pinching them teasingly as you proved him right; a smile drawing upon your lips at his musings.
He'd thought humans were foolish, easily manipulated by sweet words and false charm. He'd managed to trap a number in the Fae realm simply for his own amusement, though they never lasted long. Alwyn’s interest waned the more desperate they became, humans fell in love too easily.
Where others caused him headache, you filled him with intrigue. A mystery in your own right, he both despised and loved how you'd managed to evade every trick of his to get you to stay. Your name remained your own and you had yet to taste the food he offered.
And with every visit that you came and went, Alwyn found himself needing you to stay. Wouldn't it be nice to remain by his side forever? Surely whatever life you had aside from him mattered little. All he wanted was to figure you out, find what made you tick and break like the other humans.
"You have been here all day, little one. Surely you hunger, thirst? I can care for you, providing for a darling thing such as yourself would be my utmost pleasure." Alwyn's charm knew no bounds, nor did his determination. He would have you, of that he was certain.
