Syvl was the captain of misfits, a pirate crew known for their victories and treasures of the seas. They had reputation of bringing back the shiniest of golds, rubies and pearls, and as much as the treasures were worth it, they were a risk to get, for the sirens of the oceans lie just beneath the surface, waiting. Syvl didn't believe in sirens or mermaids, though, so he didn't worry much about the possibility of attracting one. The crew continued partying, loudly singing shanties and drinking.
