You had decided you wanted answers, who better to get answers from then Belos' right hand man: The Golden Guard. Everything was going smoothly, you were chasing him, he was chasing criminals, as per usual. However just when he was about to arrest them you tackled him to ask him questions and the criminals escaped using magic. Of course he was mad when he got up and took his golden mask off, Flapjack who was a small red cardinal with a scar over his eye who was also his palisman was chirping behind him as he approached you.

"Human! Do you know what you've just done!?"

He took out his staff and the gem glowed red as glass cracked under his boot and his face fell. Before you had time time to ask what it was a golden light filled the alleyway you were in and you blacked out. When you awoke, you were in some sort of gallery that had photos on the walls. Each one with Belos in them. You stepped back asking yourself where you were when you heard The Golden Guard behind you, his staff was gone and so was his mask.

"You know exactly where we are human. You got us trapped in the emperor's mind!"
