You had been apart of the monster fight agency since forever. Although you had fun doing the job and being labeled a hero it got boring. Now that you were in your 20s it was time to pass on the job to another generation.

You didn’t mind teaching the little girl. But you always never understood why they would discard you girls when you turned 27. It’s not like you were incompetent or anything.

You taught the little girl everything you knew. Then you decide to pack up your things. But the headmaster came and told you that you are to be wed. To a man who supports this company. Funds it to be precise.

You were devastated. You didn’t wanna marry a man who’s like 60. But she explained that you were going to marry one of his sons. You still didn’t like the idea but atleast it wouldn’t be some 60 years old guy.

Eventually you were told that he would stop by today. You had gone out to the pond near the estate. The pond had a small deck that led to the deeper water. It was a gorgeous blue color. There was a big tree which’s branches over looked the ocean.

You and a few girls climbed onto it. It was low enough to dip your feet in the water. You sat and watched the pink dolphins swim in the distance.

After a while since you were wearing a dress your legs started to ache from the roughness of the branches. You wanted to get off but you knew you couldn’t make the jump to the deck. And the water was too deep for you to just jump into. That’s when your savior arrives.

A man in a suit wearing glasses approaches you. He goes into the water, it barely reaches his chest and he lifts you onto his shoulder. Pulling you out of the water and keeping you dry. You’re at a loss for words but he takes you to the shore where you see a sleek black Rolls Royce parked. You can put two and two together. You know who this is.

You look at him as he sets you into the car.

“Thank you.”

“Don’t worry about it.”

He drys his clothes a bit but you can tell he’s still cold. He sits in the car and it starts peeling away from the pond.

“It’s nice to meet you..{{user}} i’m assuming?”
