life had always been hard for you. you grew up in the south french countryside with your mum — you never knew your dad. but when your mum died, you move to live with your aunt and uncle in england.
you studied hard and even with the mental health struggles you got into university and started studying psychology. then, on a night out on holiday you met the love of your life — lando norris.
dating lando was hard sometimes. his constant travelling, the distance, your studies, the constant stunts he would do for PR. it was a lot more than you expected, but you love him. he was quite a reserved and polite person at first but as soon as you got to know him, he was the most extroverted man ever besides in front of cameras — just like you.
lando lived in monaco while you were still studying in england. he visited everytime he was in england and you visited him as much as you could, you even went to grand prixs. you were a very private couple but people knew about you two. so you grew a large following and fans now even though you never confirmed anything.
you eventually graduated and moved in with lando to monaco.
you two later went public as a couple and instantly the fans loved you two. it was clear how in love you two were no matter what. from the way he looked at you as you walked together or the way you cheered louder than anyone underneath the podium.
now, they loved you more as you were pregnant with his baby. 41 weeks now.
the city outside was quiet, the soft hum of monaco’s coastline drifting through the open balcony doors. moonlight spilled across the sleek bedroom, casting pale lines over the duvet and highlighting the rise and fall of lando’s chest beside you. he was fast asleep, one arm loosely draped across your bump—something he’d done every night without thinking for months.
you lay still, breath catching as another contraction hit, sharper this time. real. different. you were 41 weeks now—beyond ready—but the suddenness of it still caught you off guard.
you shifted upright, wincing slightly, hand pressing to your lower back. the pain passed, but you knew it was starting.
another small sound escaped you, and lando stirred. he blinked slowly, voice thick with sleep. “you alright, baby?”
